One mailbox, read by the people who build TallyBridge — the mobile app, the BI console and the Windows connector. Most issues are a connector that stopped running; the checks below fix those in a couple of minutes.
Your data & privacy

- The email address you sign in with, and the company name in Tally.
- Where you saw it — iPhone or iPad app, the web console, or the Windows connector.
- The connector version, shown at the top of its window.
- A screenshot, and the time it happened. If a figure looks wrong, tell us the figure you expected and where you read it in Tally — that is usually enough to find it.

The things that go wrong, and the fix
My numbers look old, or the app says the sync is stale
Almost always the connector. On the PC that runs TallyPrime, check three things in order: TallyPrime is open, the connector window is running and shows a recent “last sync”, and the PC is awake. The apps deliberately keep showing the last synced figures with an “as of” time rather than an empty screen, so a stopped connector looks like stale data, not an error.
The connector can’t reach TallyPrime
Tally’s own gateway has to be switched on: in TallyPrime press F1 → Settings → Connectivity → Client/Server, set it to Both and the port to 9000. The connector reads Tally over that local gateway on the same machine — nothing is exposed to the internet by it. If a firewall or antivirus is blocking it, allow TallyBridge.exe.
Windows warns about the download
SmartScreen may warn on first run. Choose More info → Run anyway, and check the file against the SHA-256 published on the download page if you want to be certain you have the right file.
I can’t sign in on the phone
The same account works in the app and in the web console at tally.comsky.in/login. Try the console first: if it signs in there, the account is fine and it is worth reinstalling the app; if it doesn’t, reset the password from that page. Accounts are created by the connector or by your organisation’s owner — if nobody has invited you yet, ask them to add you.
Face ID isn’t unlocking the app
The app lock uses your device’s own biometrics. If Face ID is failing everywhere, fix it in iOS Settings → Face ID & Passcode. If it is failing only here, turn Biometric app-lock off and on again in the app’s Settings screen; you can always fall back to signing in with your password.
A reminder didn’t reach the party
Email reminders are included. WhatsApp and SMS are charged per message and are shown to you before you send. Check the party actually has the phone number or email on it in Tally — the reminder goes to what the ledger holds, so a blank contact field is the usual cause.
My trial ended, or the app has gone read-only
The 7-day trial runs with full features and no card. After it ends there is a grace window in which your data is retained and readable. Nothing synced is deleted when a trial lapses — write to us and we will sort out the plan.
I want my account and my data deleted
Use the deletion page, or the Delete account item in the app’s Settings screen. It explains what is erased, what is kept and for how long, and who to contact.
